Cultures of the World at the Festate in Chiasso

The Mercan Dede/Secret Tribe ensemble will perform on June 18 for the 2005 Festate in Chiasso, a festival of culture and music with a spirit of encountering the cultures of the world of the world. The Festate is every summer in the Italian part of Switzerland.

In Septermber Mercan Dede released his new album, "SU". Already in October it got on the "EUROPEAN WORLD MUSIC CHARTS" (EBU) on place #7!

Mercan Dede / Secret Tribe European Tour Success

The Mercan Dede/Secret Tribe ensemble has finished their European Summer Tour. The tour was a success and thousands of people were able to enjoy or were introduced to their music. The tour included Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and more. Many concert photos were taken.

Montreux Jazz Festival Concert and Master Class

The Mercan Dede/Secret Tribe ensemble is touring Europe and will perform for the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 12 and will also give a master class workshop, "The Secrets of the Modern Dervish". The ensemble is represented exclusively by the Yann Aubert Agency for Switzerland.

Mercan Dede's album "NAR" has climbed to place #4 of the "EUROPEAN WORLD MUSIC CHARTS" (EBU) for March after being on place #12 in February!

Mercan Dede premiere in Switzerland

The Mercan Dede/Secret Tribe ensemble had their first contact with the Swiss audience in December, 2002 in a magical concert at the L'Usine in Geneva. The concert was booked by the Yann Aubert Agency (exclusive Agency for Mercan Dede for Switzerland).
